About Your Speaker

David L. Gates, Ph.D., LMFT, CSADC is an individual/marital/family therapist with 40 years of experience in the fields of family therapy, addiction, domestic violence, and mediation. He graduated from Northcentral University in 2014 with a doctorate in Psychology. He previously graduated from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in 1977 with a Masters degree in Counseling Psychology. He completed the two year postgraduate family therapy training program at the Family Institute in 1983 as well as the two year supervisor of family therapist training program in 1994. He is a licensed marital and family therapist; an Approved Supervisor and Clinical member of the American Association for Marital and Family Therapy; certified as a supervisor alcohol and other drug abuse counselor.

Marriage breakups are at an all time high in Singapore. What has happened to the stabilising unit that marriage was to provide and be? Enormous pressures both from society and in individual perception. The fallout is sad and not to be encouraged as a sign of modern times. Help must come.

Course cancellations occurring one week or less before the course will be charged a $200 cancellation fee. Also, we no longer allow switching registrants with work colleagues. Thank you for your understanding.
